My Universal Healthcare System

I've decided to give in and support the idea of having a universal healthcare system.

Here's my plan:
1) Everyone in the United States of America will have access to a doctor of their choosing.
2) Everyone in the United States of America may form a contract with the doctor they've chosen where the patient will request some type of medical care and the doctor will provide it - for a price decided by both patient and doctor.
3) The patient will cover the expenses of labor and materials.
4) The doctor will provide the medical service to the patient.
5) Should the doctor intentionally cause injury to the patient then the doctor will be liable for the damages. Justice demands that a person who causes injury to another bring the victim to a state prior to recieving the injury. That's it!
6) If there's an accident and the patient is injured then the doctor will be liable for the damages. The doctor should bring the patient to a state agreed upon by the contract, and cover additional costs should his care cause greater injury.
7) Competition among doctors for the business of the patient will keep the prices down and affordable.
8) The government of the United States of America will stay out of the medical business, the tort business, and the insurance business because those are the State's responsibilities.

There! Everyone will have universal healthcare. The great thing about this plan is for those who are socialist, the illegal aliens will have healthcare, and for those who believe in liberty, you will have choice in your healthcare.
