Twenty years ago the Berlin Wall was torn down. It allowed thousands and thousands of people the freedom to choose liberty or tyranny. Not only did the people of Eastern Europe choose liberty, they chose to end tyranny - sort of.
Unfortunately another wall has come down and that's the wall that differentiates between liberty and tyranny. People seem to have blurred the two.
Tyranny in the name of benevolence (such as a Democratic, or Socialistic, or Communistic, or Progressive government) is still tyranny.
Any government that would take property from the people is tyrannical, no matter the reason.
Any government that would restrict the rights of the people is tyrannical, no matter the reason.
Today our government not only takes property in the form of land and money, and restricts rights in the form of more regulations, our government claims a benevolence in doing so. These acts are in direct violation and contempt of the Constitution for the United States.
Both sides, Democrat and Republican, are in violation. Both sides show contempt for the Constitution. In many ways the Republicans are in greater violation.
Democracy by its very nature is a violator of liberty, for any system that would grant the majority power over the minority will not have the best interest of the minority, only their own - regardless of the issue.
I say the Republicans are in greater violation because there are no statesman in government, only politicians, yet they wear the guise of being statesman and defenders of liberty and the Constitution. This is their lie!
I have yet to find one Republican in government who isn't a politician. I have yet to find one Republican in government who claims to have an understanding of liberty, and will fight for it. I have yet to find a Republican in government who doesn't continually fall for the political tricks of the Democrats.
For example: Each time the Democrats propose a plan the Republicans complain that it will violate our liberties. The Democrats counter that the Republicans don't have a plan. So the Republicans propose a plan of their own to counter the Democrats. Both sides compromise and support the Republican plan, which was a watered-down version of the Democratic plan. In the end our government comes up with a plan that will violate our liberties - not as much as the Democrats wanted, but enough to satisfy their need for power and control over the people.
When will the Republicans learn?
When will we learn?

Social Engineering (The Control of Natural Resources)
I personally do not like discussing conspiracy theories. I believe that conspiracy theories serve no legitimate purpose but to cause anger, fear, and alarm. I define conspiracy theories as a belief presented as fact that major scadalous events in politics, economics, and in our society are the product of secret plots that are largely unknown to the general public but somehow known to the conspiracy theorist.
With that said what the heck is going on with our current financial and oil crisis? I've been thinking of any logical reason why we are in this crisis and I can't help but wonder if something sinister is in the works. It appears to me our government leaders are socially engineering our nation deeper and deeper into communism and they've manufactured a crisis to do it. Here's how I came to this conclusion:
Some Democrats (whom I believe are Socialsts) say they don't want the 'big' oil companies to drill along the coastal regions and on American-soil for environmental reasons. I don't believe the environment is really an issue because the Democrats haven't had any problems with foreign oil companies drilling along our coastal regions.
Some Democrats say they want to lower the speed limit to 55 MPH on the highway to conserve what oil (fuel) we have. We have plenty of oil in our petroleum reserves so what's the problem? If the petroleum reserve is for a national crisis, and our nation is in a crisis, why not allow us access to the reserve?
Some Democrats say they are going to penalize (by imposing greater taxes on) the 'big' oil companies for making a profit on the sale of oil. This doesn't make sense to me. By raising taxes on profit won't this cause higher prices for the consumer? Wouldn't this cause the Democrats to want more oil production so they can get more tax money?
Some Democrats even say they want to socialize the refining of oil in the United States. I think this says a lot about what's really going on.
And, some Democrats say they don't want to invest in drilling for oil because it will take ten years or so before we can benefit from it. But, the Democrats are more than willing to invest in alternative energy sources even though it will take ten years or so before we can benefit from that. Why is our federal government investing in energy to begin with? Where is that Power in the Constitution for the United States?
When Al Gore, a Democrat, was a US Senator he openly promoted higher gas prices to wean Americans off of oil to save the environment from global warming. What global warming?
During the second term of the Clinton-Gore administration, both Democrats, environmental regulations were increased, causing oil prices to rise. The Clinton-Gore camp blaimed the higher prices on 'big' oil companies.
To regulate is to control and if the Democrats refuse to allow the oil companies to drill then this is still all about control. This continued control brings us more and more into socialism.
Now on to the Republicans (many of whom I also believe are Socialists):
Some Republicans are no better. President Bush, a Republican, allowed the Feds to increase the money supply, thereby inflating the dollar, and now oil prices have sky-rocketed. I don't hear any complaints from Republicans or Democrats about the inflated dollar, I only hear more calls to regulate (control).
If President Bush and the Republicans in Congress aren't going to fight the Democrats with every tool at their disposal then they are just as guilty as the Democrats. Again, this is all about control and both political parties are equally at fault, and accountable.
Here's how I believe we should resolve this 'crisis':
One, every single Democrat and Republican should be voted out of office. We the people need to get rid of all these politicians and start supporting real statesmen and stateswomen.
Two, our federal government should get back to a money-system that is stable. We need to get rid of the Federal Reserve and hold Congress accountable. Congress should be put on notice that they are not allowed to delegate their responsibilities to civilian agencies.
Three, our federal government should get out of the business of regulating the production, refining, and distribution of oil and start protecting the states according to the Constitution for the United States.
Four, the state governments should get out of the business of regulating the production, refining, and distribution of oil and start protecting the people according to their own constitutions.
Five, allow the people the liberty to invest in energy. Plain and simple. Allow the laws of supply and demand to fuction with no or very little regulation. Allow entrepreneurs the liberty of finding alternative energy sources and allow them the liberty to profit from them. Allow liberty to be the guiding principle throughout these United States. Allow us to be free!

The Three Blind Mice
Three blind mice,
Three blind mice,
See how they run,
See how they run,
They all ran after the farmer's wife,
She cut off their tails with a carving knife,
Did you ever see such a sight in your life,
As three blind mice?
What a mess our political parties have made of our precious United States of America. The Democrats, Republicans, and those of the Third Party (Libertarians, Constitutionalists, and Greenies) keep vying for power over our nation while they compromise our liberties along the way.
The Democrats continue to move 'progressively' towards socialism. Their leaders promise to tax (take) more and more from the evil-wealthy and redistribute it to the poor and meek. To all Democrats: a system of government where the people are forced into equality doesn't work! That leads to socialism which leads to tyranny! Remember the Soviet Union?
The Republicans seem to have lost their identity and now want to compete against their brethren the Democrats. To all Republicans: when Democrats and Republicans are so able and willing to switch parties you have to realize that there's no difference between either. Please refer to my statement to the Democrats.
And to those Third Party-types (the Constitutionalists, Libertarians, and Greenies): Come on! Pick a side and fight. Either you are a socialist or you believe in liberty. If you believe in liberty then please get involved and save our precious nation. To all Third Party-types: crying about the problem doesn't solve the problem. You actually need to do something instead of emailing each other and attending conventions.
I hear many who say we should just follow the Constitution of the United States. I wonder what amended version we should follow? Do these Constitutionalists support the 14th Amendment? What about the 16th Amendment? How about the 17th Amendment? What does it mean these days when we say we should follow the Constitution of the United States?
Will our political parties ever merge into one giant party known as the United States of America?
To quote the first President of the United States, George Washington, in his Farewell Address:
"All obstructions to the execution of the Laws, all combinations and associations, under whatever plausible character, with the real design to direct, control, counteract, or awe the regular deliberation and action of the constituted authorities, are destructive of this fundamental principle, and of fatal tendency. They serve to organize faction, to give it an artificial and extraordinary force; to put, in the place of the delegated will of the nation; and, according to the alternate triumphs of different parties, to make public administration the mirror of the ill-concerted and incongruous projects of faction, rather than the organ of consistent and wholesome plans digested by common counsels, and modified by mutual interests.
"However combinations or associations of the above description may now and then answer popular ends, they are likely, in the course of time and things, to become potent engines, by which cunning, ambitious, and unprincipled men will be enabled to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines, which have lifted them to unjust dominion."
Take that you evil political parties!
When are we the people going to stop choosing political parties to represent us and choose men and women of strong moral character who actually want to represent us, the people? When are we going to elect men and women who are willing to follow the strict guidelines found in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States? Nothing more? Nothing less?
